Our story

We have been producing apples in the UK and Ireland for over 50 years

 

 

Our own orchards make up over 350 acres of cropping apples, making us one of the largest growers in the UK and Ireland.

Several years of trials have led to the creation of our fresh, naturally sweet tasting organic apple cider vinegar. Natural Umber is enjoyable to drink whilst delivering all of the well-known benefits of apple cider vinegar.

We have had an incredible journey since launching in 2018!

In May 2018, Ulster University independently blind taste-tested Natural Umber against the top three selling apple cider vinegar brands. Natural Umber came out top in every single category.

In 2018, we were awarded the coveted 3 Great Taste stars from the Guild of Fine Food in London and went on to win the Golden Fork for Northern Ireland. Judges commented on the bold and well-rounded flavour of Natural Umber, stating it is “Smooth and easy to drink with water”, and has a “syrupy viscosity, sweet apple character and a sharpness”.

In 2019, Natural Umber won Gold in the Vinegar category at the Irish Food Awards, Blas na hEireann.

Natural Umber is now available from over 150 stockists across the UK and Ireland.
